This was the first thing I saw when entering my sister's room at the hospital. A cute tiny bundle sleeping in a wheely cot. So adorable, snuggly wrapped in flannel blankets oblivious to the world around her.
While I went cuckoo with whooping displays of admiration and joy: "OMG OMG OMG she's gorgeous!", Mum went for the silent awe approach. She simply watched from a distance at her first grandchild.
Lillee was a big baby (although I still think she's tiny) and looks very Chinese. It's amusing to hear her make cute warbling sounds when she's sleeping. Even when she cries, she sounds like a shrilly bird. So adorable!
We did'nt pick her up the first day because she was sleeping. But on the second, we took turns and it was wonderful bonding with the new addition to the family.
